I'm proud to announce that Across the Line won the Best Contemporary Romance 2016 award from the Electronic Publishing Industry Coalition. I won this award before for a different category, but never received the trophy. This is my very first trophy ever.

Best Book of 2010 (almost)

Well, I just found out that FIT TO BE TIED was nominated for Best Book of 2010 at The Romance Reviews. The contest is over and I have no idea how they chose the winners. I don't even know what category my book was placed in. I'm thinking it must have been Contemporary Erotic Romance.

Anyway, I am truly happy that my book was even nominated.

It's a nifty little logo, isn't it? Heh heh.

Favorite Author Award

Book Utopia Mom has named me her Favorite Author of 2009! Wow. I can hardly believe anyone outside of my family would declare me their favorite author. But there it is.

Once again, I'm thrilled and honored and surprised. I can only hope that my next book will entertain her.

Really. I mean, the pressure is on now, right? I'll probably have a nightmare tonight that BUM panned my third Be-Wished book. Oy vey.

Best Novella Award!

I'm thrilled to announce that Book Utopia Mom named my story, Losing It, her very favorite novella of 2009. This lady reads a lot of electronic books and she's extremely discerning, so I consider it a great honor to have made her year-end list. I'll even admit I was actually awaiting the posting of her year-end lists to see if I made it on! Tee hee. Yes, I'm that greedy for recognition.

Out of the Blue!

I won an Eppie Award!!! EPIC, the Electronically Published Internet Connection, is a professional organization that holds annual awards to recognize "outstanding achievement in electronic publishing." There are a lot of categories. This year I entered my book, A Wolf at Her Door, in the Paranormal Erotic Romance category. There were eighty other books entered in that category. Out of that eighty, eight finalled. Out of that eight, mine WON!!!

I really didn't expect to win because paranormal fans usually like their paranormal dark and disturbing. Werewolf heroes are typically brooding, tortured. My Adam was not either of these things. He was just a nice, albeit very sexy guy, who happened to be a wolf shifter. No one was trying to get him with silver bullets or wipe out his clan, of which he would, of course, be the alpha. Nor was he trying to protect the heroine from dark forces.

So, after getting the news this morning, I felt like I was walking taller all day, but I realized that was an illusion when, at the market, I still could not reach the soup I wanted on the top shelf. LOL
